electrical convertor that's about 20 years old and hasn't been used in
14 years.  It is a Franzus (brand) Travel Lite Worldwide Convertor/
Adaptor Set.  One of the plugs specifically says it's for China.  My

I am in Hawaii and, AFIK, I cannot apply for a Chinese visa by mail by
myself.  I will be staying in Bangkok and Singapore for several weeks each
before heading to China. Seems possibly easier to just get the visa in

I know that you automatically get a 30 day visa on entry. I also know that I
can get a 60 day one before I go but that involves passports in the post,
