It seems Etihad has cheap flights to Asia. Would it make sense to do a
let's say two day stopover in Doha? Is there anything to do or see
there?

Booked a hotel in Phuket today and have not heard from the but they did use
my credit card.

In April, I will stay in Beijing and Shanghai. I'd like to find nice
hotels (that means well located, clean and friendly - not necessarily
luxurious) at reasonable prices (max. 80$ - 60 EUR for a double room
including breakfast).
