Someone wants to revisit Hongkong for sentimental reasons and wants to stay
in a hotel in Hongkong next to the ferry (Star ferry?) that was called (many
years ago) simply  "The Hongkong hotel".
Does anyone now the current name of that hotel?

I have a friend who wants to travel in Nepal but is concerned about
the unrest. While she understands that she wouldn't be in danger
herself, she also wonders if there are many impediments to traveling

In coming April my husband and I will fly to Lanzhou where we intend to stay
one night in a not too expensive hotel near the South Bus Station from where
we will go to Xiahe the next day.
Can anyone of you recommend such a hotel? Price range USD 30-60 per
