We are interested in going to Beijing the second part of Oct.  What's
the best way to book a hotel from the US?  We are not interested in
arriving without a booking.  We know eLong already.  Are there some
other sites?  We are looking at mid range hotels in the US $100 range.

A plan is forming which won't come to fruition until 2010, but I want to
start planning now.
I tour a lot on a bicycle, but so far only in Europe.  It's always been
my dream to see Thailand and Viet-Nam, and looking at a map as I write
