We're from Canada and we'replanning a trip to New Zealand in December.
We've been looking at the fares for internal flights within New
Zealand on the Air NZ web site (http://www.airnz.co.nz).  The prices
that we see on the site are MUCH less than those that our travel
Lowest LAX-MEL fare for longer stay?30 Oct 2003 05:56 GMT2
Can anyone point me to a source of lowest fares from LAX to Melbourne?  I

Might a round-the-world ticket work out to be cheaper that the LAX-MEL

I've never been to Australia, but am hoping to visit my brother out there in
December.  My Mother might also come out and we'll all spend Christmas
together.  In Britain, there are loads of companies that rent
holiday-cottages (like English Country Cottages) to a high standard.  Is

Has anyone ever taken a PADI course or the diving cruise offered by the
diving schools in Bundaberg (Queensland)?
They seem to be very cheap (the shore diving course being 169$AUD) and
there is a nice 5day cruise, where you can get the PADI course for
Countrylink NSW28 Oct 2003 06:28 GMT8
Would anybody know of a web page showing a map of the NSW

Rental Car operators - Melbourne and around25 Oct 2003 05:19 GMT2
In NZ we have some established second-tier cheap rental car places.  In
Perth, there is Bayswater, who have Corollas for $29 a day.  Who can I
turn to in Melbourne (or nearby, like Geelong) for a similar rate?  Best
I can do so far is over $40 a day.
