Spending 10 days in Perth after attending a 21st party of a friend in April 2004. Will have a hire car for a few days and the rest public transport. Any must-see's around Perth. Mainly just checking out the local lifestyle and get a feel for the people over there.

We have a picture from a building in Broken Hill, but do not know what it is. We think it is the Police Station or the Town Hall (or both?). We have the picture in JPEG format, but we don't have a website and one is not supposed to post 'binaries' to a text group like this one, ...

At our local shopping mall - Eastgardens, Pagewood in Sydney, there is a specialist Ice Cream and Gelato outlet that is now selling Durian flavoured Gelato- Yum!

I'll be visiting Melbourne again sometime in Jan 2004 and will like to golf around. I have seen roos in most courses in Perth but have never seen any here (Mel). I last played at Dunes and Moonah Links beginning of 2003. Neither were there any to be seen even at remote Warrnambool ...
