| Tassie ! | 31 Jan 2004 19:23 GMT | 1 |
I had previously avoided Tasmania in January because I felt that the school holidays might overcrowd the limited facilities, however, with a little bit of planning and pre-booking of accommodation (which turned out to be a VERY good move - some places were completely booked out) it ...

| Where to stay (Barcaldine and Longreach) | 31 Jan 2004 17:18 GMT | 5 |
I'll be going to Barcaldine and Longreach soon, but I'm not quite sure about the accommodations. A friend of mine recommended Barcaldine as I wanted to see more of the outback and non-touristy Australia, and knows someone owning a pub there with the option to stay there as

| Nice places to stop between Hervey bay and up north? | 29 Jan 2004 10:54 GMT | 6 |
