I'm off to Australia in August 2004, and would appreciate recommendations
for accommodation in Sydney, Melbourne and Cairns.
There's 2 of us travelling and we don't want to spend more than AUD119
(equiv £50) per room per night, but we would like something central and with

Hi, i am after a hotel for the night in melbourne.
I was after suggestions for the best hotel in melbourne (honeymoon suite)
cost is not really a factor, but don't want to pay more then $600 or so.

We wish to do a large amount of walking NZ famous tracks, the great
walks and others. I've concerns about leaving a van alone at the
start/end of a track. Should I be?

We're hoping to visit Australia and NZ from Dec 2004 to Feb 2005. Is
it possible to get a flight to NZ that allows us to spend a few days
with relatives in Sydney, then fly onto NZ, spend 5 weeks touring
NZ(when weather is good), then stopping off for 5 weeks visiting

which cruise is most recommendable?
Did anybody try the overnight cruises?

customers not to use two websites purporting to sell international and

Has anyone any experience of staying at the Mgt River resort?  Heard the
hotel rooms are noisy; are they really bad?  We're looking at a few days
down there and wanted a hotel close to bars/restaurants/wineries, so not
something too isolated!

When does the season change for air fares to either SYD or MEL?
