Anyone know if it is feasable to think of doing a train trip from
Sydney to Adelaide?  Also, Adelaide to Melbourne? Costs?
Just trying to think of a way to avoid flying! :)

My wife and I will be traveling to NZ in a couple weeks and plan on
doing quite a bit of driving.  Can anyone tell me what I should expect
to pay for gas?

Having just been in Australia and used dirt cheap phone calling cards,
calling my girlfriend in Norway (1.8 cents/minute with OzCall and a
couple of others) I was expecting something similar here in New
Zealand, but not so!

We will be travelling to NZ during April and would appreciate some
advice.
Is it necessary to prebook accommodation?  We are planning to stay in
motels/units or cabins as we travel (2 adults, 2 children 10 and 13)

we are in the middle of filling in the stni questionaire and would like
to know  if we have to get our house valued by a surveyor or is a scum
bag estate agent good enough.
also what kind of an answer are they
