My pregnant wife and I currently live in Oxford, England and are
flying to Perth, Australia in Jan 2005 as I have a 13 month job there
starting January 17th 2005. We will be returning to England with the

Melbourne is so cool at night. Just flew in with Virgin (the airline not the
...never mind) and it was sooo amazing landing in the dark.

I'd like to do a driving tour of NZ and visit Australia as well.  Mostly
looking for scenery in NZ.  Don't mind walking a bit but not much for long
day hikes.  Haven't started looking into packages and planned itineraries
but open to suggestions.

Well, me again...
Trying to find the cheapest airfare, and think I've found it. Will be
cheaper if I only stay three months, but is that really _enough_ to do
Australia? If I plan to work some places, and see Melbourne, Sydney,
