My pregnant wife and I currently live in Oxford, England and are flying to Perth, Australia in Jan 2005 as I have a 13 month job there starting January 17th 2005. We will be returning to England with the baby after that.

We will be traveling to Queensland, Victoria, and South Australia in February, and we want to bring back some type of "souvenirs" or something for a classroom of 4th-6th grade students (about 10 to 12 years old). Does anyone have any ideas of what we can bring back

Melbourne is so cool at night. Just flew in with Virgin (the airline not the ...never mind) and it was sooo amazing landing in the dark. Remember you must fly to Melbourne at night !

I'm visiting Australia in February next year and really want to spend my 5 weeks touring up the East Coast from Sydney to Cairns by motorbike but it is very expensive to hire a bike for that long. Can anyone suggest an alternative?
