Is it a feasable idea while I stay in a suburb of Melbourne to vist Minyip
around the middle of December and perhaps stay there for a week or so ? Is
there much to see, cheap to eat etc ?
Wonder if you know what the hotel is like assuming there is only one ? Can I

Australia is a great place to travel and sight see. If you are looking
for info on traveling Australia there are some low air fairs on these
sights and great info about cruises, ext.

I'm just wondering on a trip from UK to Oz is there much concern on someone
taking a few radios AM/FM SW etc incl maybe one or 2 ham radio ie two way
walkie talkie type handhelds. Obviously not to be used to transmit in flight
but just to have with you is ok ?

Should the first timer on a UK to Oz fliught be concerned about things still
since 9/11. Is the security about as good as it can get or are their roon
for improvments / more consistancy perhaps ?
