I am planning a trip, some 5 weeks, to NZ Jan/Feb 2006.
It seems that the best time-saving options is driving. Can you guys help
with some recommendations for reliable car-rental companies? Or should I
maybe consider byuing a second-hand - I noticed a "backpackers car market"

We have six free days in auckland half december.
Three Years ago we visited the south island and the part of the north island
from wellington till auckland.
Is the rest of the north island( to the top) worth a visit?

Will be traveling by car from Perth to Monkey Mia on one side and on
the other will be going to Margaret River. We will be there from 1st to
15th Dec 2005.

the price ($750AUD) worth it for the party/ concert/ dinner at the
