We're interested in spending a few days in Port Douglas so we can have
access to trips to the reef.  Seems like everything there is very
expensive.  We'd like to find a reasonably priced motel, nothing fancy
but clean.  Any ideas?

pharmacy's down there that have the facilities to transfer digital

I used to be able to book cheap rental cars 'off-airport' on the net, but
somehow, all my links have gone down - e.g. Dollar seems to have quit
Sydney, and many other local companies does not answer e-mails. Am I stuck
