We want to travel Australia for appr. 5 month. For quite some time we
discussed the pros and cons of both options. We are talking about
renting in the range of $ 20.000,- and buying for around $ 70.000,-.

they only allow their 4WD cars to travel on 'recognized unsealed roads'

I have been using checking flights too Sydney and they are currently
