I'm coming to Oz from the States and want to get cell phone coverage
for my trip.  I have a GSM phone (T-Mobile) so I'm pretty sure I can
just take my phone and get an Oz Sim Card.  Any advice on how to get
one, where to get it, rates and prices.  Any other Oz Cell phone info

I am following all this chatter re:ATM charges. In planning how to best
avoid fees and high exchange rates, does any one have experiences in
deciding between bank cards, (Amex, Mastercard), ATM, or the old
fashion travelers checks? Anything else? BTW, I am traveling from US

I would like to go on a organized tour of Australia. Like to go on a tour
with  a small group.
Any comments on "Overseas Adventure Travel" tours for Australia?

Will be going to Auckland and Melbourne next week and want to bring my
Motorola 5428 walkie-talkies for convenience.
Are they legal in both cities. Do I need to declare them at customs??

Can anyone recommend a Gold Coast location(s) where one would find the

Actually I want to know that in SIR visas can we learn a new course
like student?than can we live for one year at any place in australia

Am I missing something here?  We will be back in NZ December 06 to March 07 doing both North and
South Island again.   And I have yet to find a car rental that offers a pickup or drop in Pickton.
I take it most must fly between islands and do their rental pickup in Christchurch, ...
