Im considering hiring a car when I get to Adelaide and driving to Sydney on a 5 (or there abouts) day driving adventure. Its just myself but really want to see a little of the outback and blue moutains from the open road. A couple of things, however, Im unsure about:

Is the Gold Coast of Australia very humid in January (like Florida in July) or is it just moderately humid? I ask this because the rest of Austalia is quite dry and it's my guess that the east coast is not as dry but it's not that wet and humid either. Kind of southern California
