I'll try and be as brief as possible;
I have been accepted to complete a semester abroad in Hamilton, NZ
from July to November. My initial intent was to fly into Brisbane and
chill on the Gold/Sunshine Coast from May, then fly to NZ in July,

    How please do others obtain this newsgroup?  I have been using
Agent as a newsreader on my current server but I am changing servers
and the new one tells me they do not have a news group service.  I
have been advised to try http://news-reader.org but when I do, and

I intend to go to Australia (Victoria) in April and stay there for six
months. Of course, I'll need a car then. To get an impression of the
price levels, I've been searching the australian eBay for cars. Most of
the cheaper ones don't have a certificate of roadworthiness.

I know that there is a such a facility for migrants flying there for
the first time for a one way ticket but I am not sure where and how

I'm planning on heading out to WA in September with my girlfriend
(flying into Perth).
We have three weeks.   I worked/travelled around Australia for a year,
back in 1999 and never made it over there so am keen to explore.

I am planning a trip from sydney to melbourne by bus and looking for
suggestions on places to stop and stay on the way. I was hoping to
stick to the coast but this is no big deal. If anyone has any
suggestions it would be much appreciated.

on Jetstar?  It's a cheap flight but my wife reckons it's 'cattle
class' and worse than going at all.  I can't believe it's that bad.
