I live in Tasmania, will be travelling to the South Island of NZ in late Feb early March 2008 for 2 weeks, would like to know: does NZ have daylight savings? what time roughly does it get dark in the evenings?

We attached our arrival and return form NZ tickets, although we get a visa for 3 months, they didnt considered our dates. we arrived in Nz at 21 dec and over visa will be expired on 27 Nov we clearly mention in our application for that we want a visa for 3
