Caribbean Sun Airlines14 Aug 2003 12:02 GMT1
We are going to St Maarten in December.  Originally, US Air had us on nonstop
flights from/to Philadelphia.  These flights have been eliminated by US Air and
they now have us returning from SXM to SJU on Caribbean Sun.  We know that they
have a relationship with US Air but have ...

Has anyone come across mention of a shipwreck in the Caribbean called
the Mathilde. It was a Cape Verde packet ship that sunk around
September 1943.

Ocean Park in San Juan13 Aug 2003 05:05 GMT2
What is the Ocean Park area of San Juan, P.R., like. From some
postings and sites it sounds like a nice gated community. Other sites
warn that it's not safe after dark. I'm thinking of staying at
Hosteria Del Mar on the beach, but want to make sure the surrounding
Grand Cayman Beach13 Aug 2003 00:46 GMT1
Have some friends who stayed in the Regal Beach Condos and raved about
them.  I seem to recall from out last trip (stayed at the Weston) that
the Regal was right next door to the Marriott ... which had NO beach at
all. Since we're seriously considering a condo for our next trip, ...
Things to do outside of the resorts in the Dominican Republic11 Aug 2003 06:35 GMT3
Normally I go for the backpacker type vacations taking only a backpack and a
Lonely Planet guide.  But one thing I've found is the LP always says
everything is wonderful and often I end up very disappointed.  So I like to
get recommendations from other travelers to compare ...
Cozumel or Cancun06 Aug 2003 01:09 GMT7
My friend from NYC and me (from Michigan) are hunting for a vacation package -- or maybe not, maybe just a decent-priced hotel/condo whatever -- on a beach where there is snorkeling and a pool in either Cancun or Cozumel. The problem is I can only go from December 27 through ...
Know Your Bears05 Aug 2003 13:50 GMT1
The Colorado State Department of Fish and Wildlife is advising
hikers, hunters, fishermen, and golfers to take extra precautions
and be on the alert for bears while in the Dillon, Breckenridge,
and Keystone area.
Useful things to bring to an all-inclusive resort04 Aug 2003 14:38 GMT4
I'm trying to make a list of useful things to bring to an all-inclusive
resort.  I'm not talking about normal things like sunblock, shirts with a
collar, etc.  I'm talking about things you wouldn't normally think of,
especially if you've never been to an AI resort before (this will ...
New Ferrari03 Aug 2003 13:21 GMT1
A hip young man goes out and buys the best car available: a brand new
Ferrari
550. It is also the most expensive car it the world, and it costs him
$500,000.
Villas in St. John01 Aug 2003 23:43 GMT1
My fiancee and I are planning our honeymoon to St. John in October
2004.  We would like to rent a villa.  There seems to be so many
places, I am looking for help or suggestions to help ake up my mind.
We are looking for one with a pool and jacuzzi, that's private, but
Resort name at Negril Jamaica?01 Aug 2003 19:39 GMT4
What is the name of the resort that is, I think, north of Couples at Negril.  Grand Lido is on one side of Couples and this place is on the other side.  Have heard the name but my ancient mind forgot it.
Also any comments on that particular resort?  Have stayed at Couples Negril ...
