Ridiculous flight fares to Caribbean?29 Nov 2003 19:24 GMT10
Thinking of taking the family to St. John or Virgin Gorda in February.
Searching flights on Orbitz/Travelocity yields $850/person from Boston.
WTF!? It costs us about $500/person to Europe.
Any tips on where to find better fares would be appreciated.

A group of friends are heading to Cuba to hang out and soak in the culture,
the salsa, the food, the people.
There will be about 6 to 10 of us, and we would greatly love to stay off
resorts, and live among the people.  Most casas have room for 2, though. Is

What is the best time of the year to get the cheapest airfare to
Aruba??  My sister has given me her week long timeshare on Aruba to use
in 2004.  Presently the cheapest airfare from NC I have found is $600
per person.  My travel dates are flexible.

Antigua23 Nov 2003 17:21 GMT4
Thanks to everyone who gave me advice about which island to visit. Between
your advice and the airline's availabilities, I settled on Antigua. I've
been checking out various websites for things to do....looks like I'll have
no problem keeping busy with historical stuff.

Bahamas visa20 Nov 2003 15:37 GMT2
Anybody have a problem with applying for a visa to go to Bahamas? I am
an international student, and I am holding an F-1 US visa. I am about to
book a vacation package. I'm deciding if I should get the cancellation
insurance, just in case I can't get the visa.
