Two items about St Maarten from The Daily Herald.
1) Quite a few merchants on the Dutch side now accept euros, but not at a
very attractive rate "since they have to go to a bank on the French side to

I was thinking of going to Antigua in June but I'm a bit worried about
getting vegetarian meals - I do not eat fish. Is there a better island
to visit instead of Antigua for this reason?
Any recommendations on where to stay would be helpful too.

I will be travelling to St. Thomas in June. Last year, I island-hoppe
to St. John. This year, I'd like to go to another island or two for
few days.
Does anyone have any feedback on travelling from St. Thomas to St

All right, these news stories of al Qaida circumventing US air
security by attempting to commandeer foreign airlines has me wondering
whether people regard air jamaica as being reasonably secure. We're
flying from Boston to St. Lucia with a change of plane in Montego Bay.

All my life, I have longed to visit the islands. Now that I am finally in a
long-term relationship, I suggested that we rent a small beach-front cottage
or villa for a week, which was met with disdain. The boyfriend is a hunter,
who spends two to three weeks of his vacation time ...

Hi, I'm a college student going to Wyndham El Conquistador Resort with
my parents for a week in the summertime. I would like to know what
sort of activities there are there for kids my age. It's the first

I am considering a vacation at Paradisus Varadero in Cuba.  It is more
expensive than most others, but the place does seem to get better reviews.
Can anyone offer an opinion on this place?  Is it worth the extra cost?

I have read on visitjamaica.com that there is a new highway called the
North Coast Highway which makes the travel time from Montego Bay to
Negril less. Previous travel times were 90 minutes. Does anyone have
experience on taking this highway and what are the travel times?
