I was just wondering what everyones thoughts are on travelling to the
Dominican Republic, with Haiti being in such turmoil. I understand the UN
and lots of US and other forces are now there, but it still freaks me out to
be in a country right next door.

I'm planning to go to Varadero from the 4th june - 20th june.
I have read that there is a rainy season in Cuba during that period.
Is it raining all day?
Anyone has visited Cuba in June?

Does anyone know of a skipper in Nassau that could take a group of 10
individuals out among the Bahamian coral reefs?

Anyone have photos of Jamaica posted on a site or usenet group that I could
view? I have not been for two years and need a fix. I will be returning in
the fall but that just won't do it for eye candy withdrawals. Need to see
places like Dunns or Mayfield or YS. Is the treehouse up ...

We visited Costa Rica in January, 2003, and had a great time, so we are
returning during Christmas of this year.  Before, we visited Alajula(Doka
Coffee Estate, Poas Volcano, the Waterfall Garden) Jaco Beach(Manuel Antonio
National Park, rode 4-wheelers, and a Canopy tour), and ...

I am visting St. Lucia soon and will have a rental car.
Friends have said it is not worth it and the roads are not the best.
I do need to visit both ends of the island.  Any comments on driving
in St. Lucia?

Thinking of staying at a place called Catalonia Bavaro with another couple.
Would like to know about beaches, food, accommodations etc.
