My fiance and myself are trying to decide between Puerto Rico or Dominican Republic for our honeymoon. we will be travelling from the UK and spending 5 days in New York City then moving onto the caribbean for some sun, sea and sand.

I was wondering if there is a possibillity to travel through the Caribbean from Florida by boat, hopping on and off on various islands along the way? I'm not interested in cruises, just ordinary passenger boats, ferrys.

Visit Costa Rica rather than a Caribbean Island. Don't stay on the East Coast; go to the West Coast. Best all-inclusive is Melia Playa Conchal (has recently changed its name to Paradius Conchal, I think). Lots more interesting that just going to a beach.

Wow...Aruba is pricey, huh? We are spending 10 days in Bonaire and 4 in Aruba. We've done some online research and even the cheaper hotels on /near the beaches are crazy pricey. We're going in March - any suggestions on condos, apartments, or whatever
