Ferry service through the Caribbean?27 Feb 2005 23:53 GMT17
I was wondering if there is a possibillity to travel through the
Caribbean from Florida by boat, hopping on and off on
various islands along the way?
I'm not interested in cruises, just ordinary passenger boats, ferrys.
Suggestion - Costa Rica27 Feb 2005 20:18 GMT3
Visit Costa Rica rather than a Caribbean Island.  Don't stay on the East
Coast; go to the West Coast.  Best all-inclusive is Melia Playa Conchal (has
recently changed its name to Paradius Conchal, I think).
Lots more interesting that just going to a beach.

Need help planning a holiday.  Would like to find somewhere in the
Caribbean (Jamaica perhaps?) where it's possible to spend time relaxing
in simple, peaceful surroundings.  Not interested in fancy resorts, just
something comfortable but simple & rustic.  The ability to smoke a

Suggestions please23 Feb 2005 03:47 GMT5
Hello.  We are a 57 and 55 year-old couple (but young at heart:), looking to
try a resort and island to which we have not traveled previously.  We have
stayed at Jamaica, Barbados, the Bahamas,  and Aruba.  We enjoy staying at a
place where we would have the option of taking part ...

Hi,  We will be vacationing at the Sunset Jamaica Grande in Ocho Rios at
the end of May.  Has anyone been to this all-inclusive resort?
Opinions?  We also plan on doing the Dunn's River excursion and the Bob
Marley Experience excursion.  Does anyone have any input on their stay

'Reasonable' Aruba Accomodations15 Feb 2005 03:14 GMT6
Wow...Aruba is pricey, huh? We are spending 10 days in Bonaire and 4 in
Aruba. We've done some online research and even the cheaper hotels on /near
the beaches are crazy pricey.
We're going in March - any suggestions on condos, apartments, or whatever
