Has anyone been to North Caicos?  Just wondering how were the beaches and
were there interesting sites.  Thanks.
Mexico-Yucatan safety17 Aug 2005 02:12 GMT2
I keep reading how crime increased in Mexico lately.  How bad is it?  I'm
specially thinking about kidnapping.  I'm planning a return trip this winter
with my family, been there last here and I didn't feel unsafe once.
Is the crime increase specifically in Mexico city or does it ...
Last Minute deals in Caribbean during X-Mass holidays?16 Aug 2005 14:35 GMT2
When I go down south, I always get my all inclusive tickets within the
last 10 days or so through online resources such as: "Last Minute Club"
or tripcentral.ca and the like. I have managed so far to get good
prices without too much headache.

Maho and Cinnamon Bay camping at New Years16 Aug 2005 03:43 GMT3
We hope to camp in St John for a week, over New Years. We stayed in a tent
at Cinnamon Bay in Feb'2000 and loved it. Are looking at a cottage this time
(avoids nighttime donkeys/mongoose raids) but are torn because the tents
were so peaceful/private. We are not partiers, but we do ...
resort comparison15 Aug 2005 17:56 GMT2
We are a small group considering two resorts in the Mayan for a week in the
middle of Jan/06... The Riu Tequila... and the Bahia Principe Tulum... aside
from the distance from the airport, any comments would be appreciated as to
distance from beach, and facilities.

on the North end of 7-Mile Beach. We are looking at London House, Discovery
Point and Heritage Club
I am up to date on the general conditions on the island having been there

Roaming in Trinidad12 Aug 2005 20:55 GMT1
I was just told by a colleage in my company that I racked up more than
$500 cell phone bill in a little more than two weeks in Trinidad
roaming with t-mobile at $2.99 a minute.  At the cut-off day shown on
the phone bill I was still in Trinidad and Tobago so more is expected.
Martinique Airport to Fort de France10 Aug 2005 09:40 GMT4

France or is it taxi only ?
Health insurance while traveling?10 Aug 2005 02:29 GMT12
Have never really thought abt it much in the past
But what would happen if I were out of the USA.... say
Mexico or Caribbean... and had a serious heath
emergency?  Maybe a heart attack, stroke, or burst
Bermuda09 Aug 2005 10:11 GMT5
Yeah, I know it's not in the Caribbean, but the Bermuda ng's are nothing but
unrelated spam, so forgive the slightly-to-the-north topic. We'll be staying
at the Reefs this October and I was wondering if anyone has stayed there and
what (aside from a large bill) we can expect. ...
St. BArt's09 Aug 2005 00:25 GMT8
The cruise we are taking stops at St. Maarten. Since we have
been there a few times, we are thinking about a quick trip to St.
Bart's.  The excursion is basically a taxi ride to the ferry, ferry
ride to St. Bart's and then nothing at all until the ride back.
Avoid Royal Caribbean07 Aug 2005 07:02 GMT26
People paid to go to Bermuda then got shanghaied to nova scotia!!!
No apology, no offer of refund. Passengers should have mutinied and
taken the ship.  Royal caribbean sure has some nerve
Aruba Low Key Non Hi Rise Non All Inclusive07 Aug 2005 03:50 GMT3
I recommend Boardwalk Apartments or Sunset Beach Villas. Low key and
VERY special. I commend you for wanting to discover the low key side of
this island. It is NOT all hi rise city...
