We will be travelling to Antigua next July - I've read a bit about
sandflies / mosquitoes and I'm wondering if anybody has been and has
any tips / information? We've been to Mallorca a few times before so

BIG NOTE:  This message does *not* concern the use (or rather, non-use) of
VISA cards drawn on american banks. That problem is well known. This
different. We had an unsatisfactory situation in Cuba with VISA cards drawn
on Canadian banks.

would like to know what I require to visit Cuba for 7 days with a few

Just a word of caution to anyone getting ready to go on a cruise.  I just
used the services of Vacations to Go and what I booked and what I got are
worlds apart!  Cruisers beware!!

I just tried to buy a calling card for my upcoming trip to California.
They do not want to deal with Canadians (or other non-americans?).  Even
thought their web site says they will accept a "hotmail" e-mail account
from the USA or Canada, they won't - so then when that was ...
