heading to JA later this month. i've found listening to local radio over the
internet is a good way to find out what's happening in places before i
visit. anybody have any hotlinks for jamaican radio stations? i found some
but they were all "subscriber" stations, ie. you want to ...

We are going to Cuba in a few weeks from the UK.
Just wondered whats the best form of currency
or travelers cheques to take ?
And should we take small gifts as tips or money ?

leaving for Port A in a couple of weeks. please tell us about it? where to
go, little out of the way bars and places to eat, what to see and so on.

Often I see the phrase "there's little to no nightlife there".  What does
that mean, exactly?
There is nightlife as in loud discos, noisy casinos, and raucous bars that
party late into the night for tourists who love to be surrounded by constant

I was on vacation with my 10 year old daughter at the sunset lagoon in
cancun, and had to attend a 90 minute "promotion" wich included showing

I know a couple that went to Pavillions and Pools in Saint Thomas a few
years ago ( and visited 3 years in a row ).They loved it.  Anyone been
there recently. We are thinking about going for a week, but the local
travel agent ( Liberty ) does not have them as a current package in ...

My wife and I are thinking of going to Punta Cana's Majestic Colonial
hotel next January.  We were wondering if any of you have any thoughts
to share... any experiences.
Is there anything we ought to be wary about?  ie. Food, water etc.
