How does one get from Houston Bush Airport to the Port at Galveston?  Costs?

I'm interested, in the future, to go on a cruise vacation for the first
time and I have a simple newbie question for you. Is a big cruise line

My wife and I just returned from a 7 night cruise on Royal Caribbean (which
was wonderful), and we used the website www.CruisesEASY.com.  I tell you
what, the name says it all.  The site has everything about cruising on it
including feedback from cruise passengers.

showing locations of some cruise ships.  Not all cruise ships
participate in the system of weather reports that drive the map, so
your favorite ship might not be displayed.  Ship positions are updated

Will be on Star Princess on Oct 7-24 Venice to Ft. Lauderdale. I will be
purchasing trip insurance. My question is how much medical and evaction
insurance should I have? Both my wife and I are covered by medicare and
supplemental insurance.

Got my HAL Alaska docs yesterday...busy filling out stuff,
and making itinery tags.

We have booked a 8-day cruise with Royal Caribbean sailing to Bermuda
this september. The travel document states that RCI reserves the right
to limit or refuse to allow alcoholic beverages to be brought aboard the

We sail uk/new york on QM2 and have been offed this deal or shall we put the
money into a qm2 cabin up grade.

Going on only my second cruise out of Jacksonville in November 2004 and will
docking at Freeport & Nassau. From what I have read on the Internet the
shore excursion offered by Carnival do not look all the promicing expecially
in Freeport.

Does anyone know of any car rental agency that has either pick-up at the port
or drop-off at the port.
Someone mentioned Avis, but they no longer offer this service.
