Caribbean Princess report.
Embarkation on Sept 18 went smooth. Food was good, service was OK. Not may
smiles from the crew except the Cabin steward and dining room staff. Guess when

Called Carnival this morning to ask about the 1-day sale although I was
already booked on the Miracle for months now Feb. sailing. No problem
gave them my booking number and was immediately upgraded from 8A to 8C

Hi all, I am trying to choose between these 2 ships leaving out of New
Orleans (we are thinking of doing a prenight here).  Price is similar
and I've been on the RCCL Splendour, so I kind of know what the Grandeur
will be like.

Here are more details and artist renderings. I think the ship looks
absolutely AMAZING! Talk about an innovative design. Royal Caribbean should
be commended. Even the bungee jumping looks far better then I imagined. I
even like the new deck chairs. I hope all the RCI ships ...

For those that must have or strongly prefer new ships, with new being
defined as ships in service for 2 years or less, why?
I've have issues with you, but please state your case :)

   Does Carnival cruise lines own Holland America and other cruise lines
too?  What about Royal Caribbean?  Do they own Celebrity cruise lines?
   Can someone give me a list of who owns who in the cruise world?

In May, the Enchantment of the Seas will be dry docked while the ship is
lengthened. They will be adding four bungee trampolines, positioned
forward on Deck 10.
This looks like fun, but I wonder what it will look line on a cruise ship.

I want to go to Alaska solo next year and I wonder which line or agency offers
the best single rates?

Cruises so far...  
Catalina, 90 minutes boat ride, then maybe 4 hours on the island, 90
minutes to come back..  Two couples, late 20's. Both my wife and the
other gal got sea sick.

Has anyone been on this itinerary for the Tahitian Princess (or on this
ship for another itinerary)?  We're taking the Feb. 1, 2005 cruise, and
