RCI Radiance 10/16-10/24 Review (Atlantis Cruise) LONG28 Nov 2004 03:33 GMT16
This was a Mexican Riviera cruise on RCI's Radiance of the Seas,
hosted by Atlantis Vacations (all gay cruise).  We've never seen a
review of an Atlantis cruise on RTC, so we thought it might be helpful
to anyone considering one.
Home from first cruise (longish)27 Nov 2004 21:47 GMT13
Last night we got home from our first cruise, Oceania's Trans-Atlantic
repositioning of MS Insignia (from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean).  We
met the ship at Lisbon, sailed open ocean one day then landed at Funchal,
Madeira for a day, had six sea days, a one-day stop at St. ...
RCCL Pier in San Juan27 Nov 2004 19:37 GMT5
We're sailing on 1/9/05 on the AOS. Does anyone know what pier it
usually sails from? We're going in the day before and staying at the
ElConvento and I was thinking it might be helpful.

Our Upgrade Story27 Nov 2004 15:03 GMT1
Our first cruise was five nights out of NYC aboard the Carnival Destiny to Canadian ports, arranged
by my retirement organization.  I reserved the least inexpesive balcony cabin.  Carnival sent us the
booklet with the layouts of the ships, what to expect, tipping ...
NCL Spirit27 Nov 2004 14:20 GMT1
I am wondering about the layout of the NCL Spirit.  I am booked on the 6th
floor and I  see from looking at the deckplans on NCL Website that both
restaurants are also on this floor.  It looks like we will have to go up a
level and across then back  down to enter the restaurants. ...

it would be of interest.  This was the big surprise.  If you have
missed any of my news' postings, they are available on my web site.

18 days and counting.....27 Nov 2004 06:23 GMT14
Got my new passport in the mail yesterday.
Made my flight reservations on Spirit.  Decided to spring for the
business class thing, wasn't too bad a price at all.
Going down to Fort Lauderdale a day early.
Disney Cruise in April27 Nov 2004 04:08 GMT10
Hey, it's my 50th birthday in April, and I plan to make a Disney

I'm starting the bash early for my 50th!
My plan for April is to book at week on-resort at WDW at one of our
Celebrity Donates 250 Cruises to US Troops!27 Nov 2004 01:11 GMT2
We got word earlier this week that the Ellen DeGeneres studio audience
made up of those that are related to our US troops were in for quite a
surprise from Celebrity Cruise Lines.  Celebrity was not kidding.
They gave 250 7-day cruises away.  They did include port charges,
ships at Cozumel26 Nov 2004 22:42 GMT7
Read with interest re: an added tax on goods at certain stores.  But
was wondering, are prices higher when ships visit?  Not only Cozumel,
but other ports?  Reason I ask is we travel free and plan spend a
*lot* of time in the Yucatan, but would like to avoid the area if
Free Cruise Ship Game26 Nov 2004 20:37 GMT1
Warning - people get a little weird on the water. You won't believe what
your guests are up to. If you're not a sharp-eyed old sea dog, they'll
torpedo your business. Throw in some umbrella drinks, choppy seas, unruly
employees and anything can happen. You could be rich and famous.. ...

to stand at the mouth out one.

Anyfamiliar with Victoria Cruises or Riitz tours26 Nov 2004 13:41 GMT7
We saw an ad in Sunday LA Times for 12 & 14 day Yangtze River (China)
cruises in 2005 including round trip air from LAX at what seemed to be good
prices. Has anyone had any experience or heard about Victoria Cruises, Ritz
Tours and/or China Air. Any info would be appreciated.
