NO LIFESAVING FLOATATION DEVICES WERE VISABLE !
What regulatory idiots decided that lifebuoys aren't needed on these

I was watching the travel channel special yesterday on this ship and
let me say I was impressed.  The ship looked great and activities
looked very exciting.
Does anyone here have any personal experience with this ship?

My Windjammer Cruise (LONG)12 Apr 2005 18:51 GMT33
I returned late Saturday night (early Sunday morning actually) from my
Virgin Islands cruise on the S.V. Legacy. It was a really wonderful
cruise that went something like this:
I meant to get up at 3:30 am on Easter morning, but woke at 3:00 am
Cruising the Venitian lagoon...12 Apr 2005 13:35 GMT1
If you think of spending an outrageous weekend in Venice,  not in a
conventional hotel, though in an equally sophisticated environment,
then why don't you try our first class cutter "Dulcinea", moored in
Venice?
followup to "here's my pre-paid tip question"12 Apr 2005 13:25 GMT1
Still thinking about this question and I have some new information.
To recap -- I was wondering about credit card fees in regards
to pre-paid tips.  If you charge the tips to your credit card,
does the cruise line take out a part of what you charged to

My two bits worth on Windjammer12 Apr 2005 04:37 GMT30
On Saturday, I got off the Windjammer's S.V. Mandalay after a two-week
cruise through the Grenadines.  It was interesting to read JCZ's trip report
on the Legacy.  It's always fascinating to read a newbie's report on a
Windjammer cruise.  For the most part, the theme seems to be ...
Renaissance Ships where are they now.12 Apr 2005 03:42 GMT5
Can anyone tell me what's happened to the Renaissance ships, I sailed with
Renaissance twice and they were my favorite cruise line.  I would like to
cruise on one of these ships again and was wondering if they were all
sailing with new cruise lines.
Carnival Spirit12 Apr 2005 01:02 GMT10
Greetings all! My wife and I just got back from a most wonderful cruise on
the Carnival Spirit to Acapulco, Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa and Manzanillo. We were
upgraded to a balcony by the Carnival Vacation Club, enjoyed wonderful
shows, think their overall service above expectations and are ...

I am interested in taking a cruise to Bermuda.  I have only cruised on
Holland.  Are they the best cruiseline to take to Bermuda?  Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Sarasota to Tampa...How to get there??11 Apr 2005 14:17 GMT8
Using frequent flyer miles, I can get some freebie tickets flying into
Sarasota.  Our cruise leaves from Tampa and of course those free
tickets aren't available.  It is approximately 40 miles and I was
wondering if there was a relatively inexpensive way to get from point A
Rental Car Near Port of Tampa11 Apr 2005 13:30 GMT2
Will be flying into Sarasota and renting a car to drive to Tampa.  I am
looking for a car rental location that has dropoff/pickup very close to
the port of Tampa.  Are there any major rental companies with locations
near the Port of Tampa?
