Beach Hotel near Port of Tampa31 Jan 2006 21:35 GMT2
Can anyone recommend a beachfront resort hotel that would be close to the Port
of Tampa.  I realize Tampa is on a bay but we arrive there two days early for a
cruise and would like to stay at the beach.
Thanks for any info

Can someone please tell me exactly what deck or area on the Caribbean,

side by side. Any input would be appreciated!
Back From Cruise #231 Jan 2006 13:41 GMT19
I won't go in to a long review since I'm just a cruise "newbie" but we had a
fantastic time and still love the Grand Princess.  We've cruised on her both
times.  Here is a link to my on-line photo gallery on pbase.
Oh, I will comment on how much EASIER dismemberment was this time. ...
Downside of having aft balcony31 Jan 2006 11:54 GMT13
In spite of having postings all over the place about throwing things

morning.  We don't smoke.  We had one of thirty aft balconies and we
were at the second level from the top.  I can only imagine how many
Carol31 Jan 2006 04:11 GMT32
My beloved Carol, wife of over 25 years and soul mate, has been
diagnosed with breast cancer.  We are still stunned, but no longer in
denial.
It's going to be a long haul, but we'll get through it.
ADVENTURE O.T.S.  2/26/0631 Jan 2006 03:36 GMT2
My wife and I will be sailing out of San Juan on Feb. 26th.  Anyone on this

some pictures from the bridge of the Adventure when we get back.  Thought
this might be of interest to some of you.  Of course ...

AND JUST LIKE THAT HE'S GONE31 Jan 2006 01:27 GMT40
After watching prime time last night I was surpise at how many people
go on a cruise's and suddenly vanish from the face of the earth. When
this happen the cruise industry almost always calls it suicide and
makes it impossible for authorities to get to the bottom of it. With

Quick Rhapsody Roundup -- okay, well it turned out to be not so quick <vbg>30 Jan 2006 15:42 GMT15
Friends, we were on the Rhapsody of the Seas out of Galveston last week
and I thought I'd give you some quick impressions.  Because she's been
around for a while, I won't go into great detail about the layout, etc.,
but if you have any questions, feel free to ask.  This is more ...

cell phone at sea or international30 Jan 2006 06:31 GMT3
Does anyone have experience using a cell phone either at sea or
internationally?  Apparently this is becoming more accessible and
affordable.  Is it better to just rent a phone for a particular trip or
will a phone service like Cingular be a better option?
