RCCL stock21 Aug 2006 07:59 GMT1
RCCL is closed at 33.85, near it's 52 week low of 30 and below it's
100 day moving average.  Is it on its way down, or is this a good time
to buy?
Carnival Cruise Glory21 Aug 2006 06:22 GMT19
One traveling with us is diabetic and requires insulin. This makes me wonder
if refrigerators are in rooms or is this a special request.
Lifeboat question21 Aug 2006 06:15 GMT47
I'm just curious--not trying to stir up anything, just curious.  Could
the lifeboats realistically hold all the passengers on a full cruise
if the need came about?  On the Monarch of the Seas last Feb, when we
did the muster drill I was noticing the number of passengers--and they
Airtran and Southwest question21 Aug 2006 05:30 GMT12
I know this is a cruise board, but I know a lot of people now book their own
air.  We have done numerous cruises, but we always had the cruise line do
our air.  This is the first time we are going to book our own.  I was
looking at Airtran and Southwest because their prices are a ...
Cruise ship smoking21 Aug 2006 05:06 GMT37
In light of the latest Surgeon's report, has there been any new news about
limiting smoking on any of the cruise ships?
One more question...20 Aug 2006 23:10 GMT14
another short one. :)  Do any of you bring your own bottles of liquor on the
ship to have in your rooms? I have never done it as i figured they would
stop me at the baggage area but I hate paying SOOO much for the wine and/or
liquor on the ship so i thought i would ask the ...
Rum Point Grand Cayman from cruise port20 Aug 2006 22:32 GMT1
Does anyone know if Rum Point, Grand Cayman is do-able via taxi from
the cruise ship terminal? How far away is it and how much is the taxi
ride.
Thanks,

Star cruises in Asia20 Aug 2006 16:27 GMT10
Has anyone have had experience traveling with Star Cruise in Asia, mainly
Thailand, Cambodia, and Singapore?  I believe their fleets are operated by
NCL, and if so, what is Stars added value.
Thanks -
Tipping20 Aug 2006 03:46 GMT7
It has been several years since the wife and I took a cruise.  We will
be taking a 12 day Panama Canal cruise this December.
At that time the tipping rates were:
Room Steward  $3.00 per person per day
Sanitary question20 Aug 2006 00:47 GMT14
On our last cruise on Princess when we went into the buffet there was a crew
member standing at the door and she made everyone put some kind of
disinfectant on their hands and rub them together before going in.
If you didn't do the liquid, you didn't eat.
Wireless Internet and Cell Phones on Ships20 Aug 2006 00:33 GMT11
I read where Carnival Cruise Lines has installed wireless Internet on
most of their ships from stem to stern and only a few areas are not
accessible.  You can access the Internet from your cabin and most
public areas.  75 cents a minute.  You can bet they will try and sell
Majestic Jewelers20 Aug 2006 00:26 GMT14
I recently purchased a small diamond, opal, and tanzanite ring at
Majestic Jewelers in the Al Cohen Mall on St. Thomas.  Two days later
one of the opal stones fell out.  Two days after that, the tanzanite
stone fell out.  I have tried numerous times to contact them through
Carnival Cruise Line20 Aug 2006 00:16 GMT11
My son and daughter in law are taking my wife and I on our first cruise.
Would love to hear both good and bad about Carnival and the ship Glory.
Concerned about medical staff etc..
