Just got my non Docs from Princess for the Viking Cruise! WOO HOO! 62
days til San Juan for Thanksgiving and then off on the Crown.
WE are doing a Grenada tour with Mandoo, WHat a nice person this is.
they have not had a ship in there since april and he said its been real

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to park near the cruise
terminal in San Diego?  How far from the terminal and the price per day?
Do they have a shuttle to and from the pier?  Any info would be

Is anyone familiar with MSC?  My local paper is showing a few great
deals on the Lirica going to the Caribbean, Mediterranean and Panama
Canal.  Are these too good to be true and is the ship a tub?

It is being reported tonight that the Vancouver Olympic Committee
(VANOC) has said they will NOT be using cruise ships to house the press
in Squamish as first planned. This will mean thousands of press will now
have to find hotel rooms thus putting the squeeze on a already tight

board the airplane on their flights back home?

Royal Caribbean should takeover Star/NCL , as this would position them
to compete for 1st place in the cruise industry against Carnival. They
would gain market share in Asia, and would have the Hawaii market almost
all to themselves. They would also have Freestyle Cruising!!!

 We are planning on our first Mediterranean cruise next year and I'm
wondering what the weather is like in that area for October? Is it still
comfortably warm? Rainy? And is there any *sitting around the pool* weather
during a transatlantic, 6 days back to Miami from Europe?

negotiations to buy Oceania Cruises.  Oceania has been very successful
in the marketplace.  This makes them a prime takeover candidate
