I'll be on the HAL cruise out of San Diego Sat. Dec 2 to Cabo, etc. for
one week.  Can anyone comment on the expected seas for this cruise at
this time of year?  Thanks.

We're from CA and looking to take my mother on a cruise out of
Galveston.  We will fly into IAH (Houston).  My Mom lives in Richmond.
We need to figure out how to get to the cruise terminal with minimal
drama.  My mother doesn't drive, adding to the challenge.

This Erica kid is a bigtime troll, trying to fleece people out of money and
I doubt, if it is for taking mommy on a cruise. She writes like a little
kid, with poor grammar, typo's and a childish sound to her composition.

As you board the ship personnel are prommoting the sell of cards for
soft drinks ( ie as of 11/18/06 ) deal was $49 for 14 day cruise. No
free ice cream. fruit  punch, Water,orange juice from concentrate,and
intermit cranberry juiice;  JIM

OK, we are thinking about taking yet another cruise. Perhaps a cruise
to Italy and Spain?! When is the best time to go? What is the best
cruise line? What is the cheapest time to fly to Europe? I'm a bargain
shopper.

Going out of philadelphia for our cruise,does anyone know what is
allowed in carry on,and if you have lotion's etc.in clear plastic bags
must you go to a different line to have them checked?Just trying to get
a handle on things.      Tried the airport but could not get any info.

OK I leave in  a few days on Carnival Fascination. What are the odds
of getting a room upgrade at check in? Any last minute suggestions on
what to look for or do? It's our first family cruise and my sister in
law and in laws who I totally love. I can't wait  YAHOO.

In the past we have always packed a bottle of wine or champagne in our
suitcase to toast our arrival aboard the cruise ship.  With todays
security changes, can we still do this or will the crusie line
confiscate it.

It appears that any contract you enter into with HAL can be changed by
them whenever they feel they've gotten the short end.

Hi all, I used to frequest these boards in the past but have stopped
the past few years due to family, work, the usual excuse ;)
Anyways, a group of friends and I (number still undetermined but
possibly around 15-20) are thinking about a short 3-4 day cruise next

All packed except for the carry-on.  What to do until tomorrow when we
go on our 11 day Zenith cruise......these last few hours are the
hardest.  I always have that awfull feeling that we are forgetting
something very important.......never do but still get that feeling.  So
