Verizon Cell Coverage17 Nov 2006 20:02 GMT4
We're planning a cruise to Hawaii this December. I know that Verizon does
have cell coverage in the Hawaiian islands but does anyone know how good the
coverage is?
Thanks

A Few Miles Off The Florida Coast Cellular Phoning Becomes Typical  Ripoff17 Nov 2006 17:46 GMT31
Our cruise is from Jaxsunville to Key West to Nassau and then back to
Jacksonville.
"Digicell" of "Bermuda" apparently became our service provider rather
than our (unlimited within USA) T-Mobile.
Island Princess17 Nov 2006 11:49 GMT3
We're scheduled for a stop at Ensenada, Mx. before returning to Los Angeles
on our Hawaiian cruise. Does Princess allow anyone off the ship for the
brief 3 hour stop? They refer to it as a "service call". We're only there
from 5 PM to 8 PM.
Touring Hawaii ports17 Nov 2006 11:38 GMT2
We will be stopping in Hilo, Honolulu, Nawilli Kauai and Kona. I am not
interested in the ships shore excursions. Would appreciate any suggestions
for self tours either by taxi or other.
Happy Birthday Becca17 Nov 2006 02:55 GMT5
Would it be very much off topic to wish my friend Becca a very happy
birthday?  No?  OK then, here goes.
Happy Birthday, cruisin' buddy, Becca!
Ermalee <--used the word "cruisin'"; wouldn't want to be off topic :-)
Travel with 12 year old boy17 Nov 2006 00:47 GMT12
I'm considering a cruise at the end of August with a 12 year old boy.
Any recommendations as to which cruise lines would be best at keeping
him busy? I was looking at Carnival, Disney or Royal Caribbean as the
top contenders.

Is there any cruise line, apart from the 6-stars, which DON'T charge an
arm  and a leg for booze?

First Time Cruiser -- Need Some Opinions/Info16 Nov 2006 17:36 GMT117
I am 70, my wife 60, both retired. We are looking to take our first
cruise some time next year, preferably to Alaska. We are willing to
consider cruises at any time of year from May through September,
including repositioning cruises.
