Why I rarely post on newsgroups11 Dec 2006 00:44 GMT9
Since the recent James Kim tragedy, I've received numerous e-mails
from newsgroup posters,
asking for advice about cold weather survival, one of my specialties.
I've replied to all of these
Port Canaveral embarkation time10 Dec 2006 18:31 GMT1
We're going on our third cruise out of Port Canaveral this coming
Saturday 12/16/06 on the Carnival Glory. We previously went on a
Carnival during December 99 (can't remember which ship) and Disney on
Sept 05.  What is the earliest time you should or can get to the
$22/day?!10 Dec 2006 16:41 GMT1

For some reason a November 1967 issue of "National Geographic" turned up
in the magazine rack at work.
The articles were of some interest.  The lead article was about south
Home from Zenith....long10 Dec 2006 03:54 GMT5
11/27/06 - 12/07/06.  We had 11 days on the eastern caribbean cruise
aboard the Zenith.  I was somewhat concerned about the condition of the
ship since she has been sold.  Although the ship has signs of age it is
for the most part pretty much okay.  Mainly, it is being kept very

Logbook09 Dec 2006 23:44 GMT1
Recently, I googled for "Cruise Passenger", an Australian Magazine. By
doing so, I discovered a website where they sell a logbook for
travellers. To keep a record of their worldwide travels. I bought one
(it's only 12.95 euro) and I must say, it's a great booklet. Passport
Cyber Cabin on RCCL Voyager class ships09 Dec 2006 23:26 GMT5
As much as I hate it, I'm going to have to keep in contact with work
next week while on the Voyager eastern Caribbean cruise.
How well does the Cyber Cabin service work? $100 for the week, right?
.. and truly unlimited? Is it wired or wireless? If wired, do they

Does any one know anything about the ship Celebrity Journey?  We see this
ship on their web site and noticed that they are renovating it.
Thanks,

Princess and seasickness08 Dec 2006 21:50 GMT31
I have always loved Princess better than all the other cruise
lines we sailed- and I am sad to hear all these negative reviews.
I hope this was just a fluke and that Princess will stay as regal
as she always has been.

Vikings are Back08 Dec 2006 04:55 GMT269
The Vikings are back home after a week on the Crown Princess.  Had a nice
week with the group, and a new itinerary for me that included Bonaire,
Aruba, Grenada, and St. Kitts.
Loved Bonaire.  Liked Aruba.  Grenada was rather different from the typical
NCL Casino - Triple Play Chips - Buy for $10, Get $15 in Chips08 Dec 2006 00:43 GMT3
Anybody have any experience with this deal on NCL?   Brochure says "they
stay in play as long as you win".  Question - are winnings from these
chips paid in regular chips that you can cash or some other special chip?

non-transferable,  and can only be used on the Celebrity brand.  It is
good through June 2007.
I don't know what I can do with the voucher since I don't want to fly and
