VOTS video and question27 May 2007 14:07 GMT15

up a question.  Does the Captain restrict movement by the passengers
during such a rough time?  For instance, if someone wanted to go to the
Lido deck for coffee, could the do so in the elevator or stairs.  ...
Short distance cruise question26 May 2007 21:21 GMT11
Carnival has a 4 day cruise on Paradise that the first leg is from Los
Angeles to Catalina Island (a mere 22 miles away). Where does the ship go to

We are family of two adults ad three kids : 12, 11, and 3.  We are exploring

(more bang for the buck).  Any recommendations

deviation the cost went through the roof so we took over. We got

How does Princess rate balcony cabins?26 May 2007 02:16 GMT4
I've noticed some deep discounts on the Dawn Princess
category BF balconies, but the odd thing is I can only
find FOUR category BF cabins and they are on the
Caribe deck. There appears to be cabins above and

>From the docks to the AMTRAC station...anyone done it?
I'm assuming a taxi, but I'm interested in knowing what options exist
and are practical.   I'm not concerned about saving a trivial $7.49
between two people, etc.

Insurance for Charter?23 May 2007 15:14 GMT6
What is the arrangement when a firm charters a full ship and sells the
cabins on that itinerary?
Specifically, if a company like RSVP or Atlantis were to go bankrupt
and cancels a cruise, would the paid booking and liability lie with

Press Releases, etc.22 May 2007 23:07 GMT1
I find the "on-topic" press releases interesting.

you can set up a kill file or just skip over them.
Not a "biggy" and sometimes you can learn something!
