Now that we've killed the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami hotels thing, assuming
one flies into Ft. Lauderdale for a cruise from Miami, what rental car
companies are near the port that have shuttles to/from the port?

In the past our cruises have been short and from our home city,
but we're planning an extended cruise later this year. It
involves a lot of money, and worse, we must fly to the port of
departure.

well I was just inform that the azamara journey is not taking celebrity letters of credit even thought the ship was being advertized as a celebrity cruise. the booking is for the journey on Sept 8,07 to bermuda.  it was booked on may 9, 2007 @ 7:30 pm with my local travel agent. ...

We're going to land for a day in Le Havre during july and I don't want
to try the rush trip to Paris.  Thought it might be intere4sting to tour
around Normandy (Honfleur, the beaches, St Mere Eglisse?).  Do you have
any recommendations re a tour or taxi company starting from Le  ...

We (me and wife - both late 40s) are taking a Cruise in September ex
Whittier - we will have 2 - 3 days beforehand in Anchorage area to see
sights ... was checking on things to see from tourist authorities and
commercial outfits but they list loads of options and I would like

Five of us will be taking Grandeur on August 10 from Baltimore.  The ships
use a different dock than my last Baltimore cruise and I don't know which
hotels are most convenient for two nights pre-cruise.  Anybody have a
suggestion?  TIA

Does any one recall Neptune Lounge entry offered to mini-suite SS
category--I inquired on the Oosterdam last week and was told "never",
however my tablemates said they were on that same ship on the Mexican
Riviera in SS and had access.

New shipowner Majestic North America had one of their ships run
aground off of Icy Strait in Alaska.  The Empress of the North off

We are booked on the Azamara Journey sailing from Cape Liberty on
Sept.29th...I know that this port is fairly new to the cruise lines and was
once an old military terminal, but I'd like to know if there are any nice
hotels/ motels in the area for just a one night pre-cruise stay? ...

My fiance and I are going on our honeymoon soon and have read over the
documents and it says that we can't even buy alcohol from the gift shop and
take it back to our room. We are taking the '
Adventure of the Seas'

Hopefully more cruise ships will start visiting the Pacific coast of
Costa Rica.  It has beautiful beaches, friendly people, and lots of
