Now that we've killed the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami hotels thing, assuming
one flies into Ft. Lauderdale for a cruise from Miami, what rental car
companies are near the port that have shuttles to/from the port?

well I was just inform that the azamara journey is not taking celebrity letters of credit even thought the ship was being advertized as a celebrity cruise. the booking is for the journey on Sept 8,07 to bermuda.  it was booked on may 9, 2007 @ 7:30 pm with my local travel agent. ...

Five of us will be taking Grandeur on August 10 from Baltimore.  The ships
use a different dock than my last Baltimore cruise and I don't know which
hotels are most convenient for two nights pre-cruise.  Anybody have a

category--I inquired on the Oosterdam last week and was told "never",
however my tablemates said they were on that same ship on the Mexican

Sept.29th...I know that this port is fairly new to the cruise lines and was
