Friend of mine just got back from a combo cruise/land tour and spent 7 days of a 12 day Alaskan cruise on Holland America's Volendam. Tips were supposed to have been included in the price of the cruise at the rate of $10 per day per person on the cruise.

Specifically, we are using Alla-tours, and our ship is the Star Princess. I had asked Alla about goiing back to the ship between tours if we used one of her night activities. She replied that it was not typically done

I have a friend who -- at this moment -- is aboard the Azamara (Celebrity) Journey enroute to Bermuda. She left me a phone message indicating that she seems to have broken her foot and the medical staff on the ship wants her to be seen at an emergency room in BDA.

We will be on the Regal Princess next month round trip Hawaii, now that Lynn is over her blood clot and if the crick don't rise. We have not cruised since September-- that is such a long time for us. This will be cruise number 34 and we are ready to savior every moment.
