There is no easy way to tell you all this.....
Late yesterday afternoon, Chip Posner passed away.  He had been sick with
pancreatitus for quite a while and was in and out of intensive care  for the
past few weeks.  He seemed to be making progress some days but in the end,

We just left the Mercury in Seattle after an Alaska roundtrip cruise.
There
was a serious outbreak of Norwalk virus on the ship that affected many
passengers including me.  Three days and three nights and counting so

About 3 weeks ago I went on my first cruise to the Caribbean on the
all new "Freedom of the Seas".
Anyways I am not writing about the ship "Which is AWESOME", but rather
about something myself and my girlfriend revealed about Royal

NCL has changed the smoking policy on their ships to ban smoking in any bar
aboard ship except the casino.
Sure going to get smoky in there! LOL

We are flying from Geneva, Switzerland to JFK on Dec 21, 2007 for
boarding HAL Noordam the next day for a 14 night cruise from NYC to
the Caribbean. I am looking for accomodation for party of 6 for one
night. Ideally not too far from the pier but located so that on Dec 21

booked a cruise out of another country where prices are lower. n flew
there to take the cruise?
n flew back after the cruise.
so youre getting 2  vacations for the price of 1.

We'll be sailing back-to-back itineraries on the Mariner of the Seas
this October.
Does anyone know how Royal Caribbean handles folks who are staying
on-board for a second cruise?

We are taking the RCI Rhapsody of the Seas 16 day cruise through the Panama
Canal.  We leave from Galveston on Sept. 2nd, and arrive in San Diego on the
18th of September on a Tuesday Morning.  The itinerary gives the docking
time in San Diego as 4 in the morning.

What is the latest update on the Blue Lady/ Norway??

When we dock in Honolulu, we want to get into a rental car ASAP so we can
beat at least some of the buses up to the Arizona Memorial.
  Does anyone who's a Hawaii cruise veteran know which rental car offices
are closest to the terminal?
