Report on St. Petersburg Private Excursion with Alla08 Jul 2009 15:44 GMT6
As long as we are discussing this, I thought I might as well go ahead
and tell you exactly what we did in St. Petersburg.  This is what I
wrote at the time:
June 15 - St. Petersburg.
NYC - Titanic Exhibit @ Discovery Expo Center08 Jul 2009 15:26 GMT1
If your in NYC anytime until Feb. 2010 I suggest you look into the
Titanic Exhibit at the Discovery Expo Center on 44th St.  The price is
$19 and change but the audio tour is an extra $5.  Well worth it.
This exhibit is full of hundreds of artifacts from the Titanic.  They
Food quality on HAL ships07 Jul 2009 22:41 GMT15
My copy of Berlitz Ocean Cruising, over five years old, says that HAL¹s food

who are not used to better food; it doesn¹t match food served on other
premium segment ships; fowl tends to be battery-tough; ...
Tokyo - a short visit06 Jul 2009 14:28 GMT2
My wife has never visited Japan and it's been 40 years for me...
If you had 2-3 days in town (say, Taito or Shinjuku) before getting on
the ship, how would you spend it?

Venice Hotel w/water taxi dock06 Jul 2009 06:37 GMT4
We'll be spending a couple of days in Venice precruise and would like
suggestions for a hotel.  We'd like to be close to St. Marks Square

luggage and I've reached the age where I'm no longer able to handle it.

This game show is very popular, but I wonder why they don't vary the
questions a bit to keep it fresh?
Certainly questions could be given a cruise angle like:

Opinions:  Sea Dream Yacht Club04 Jul 2009 07:53 GMT2
While researching "small" ship cruises--I don't find "conventional"
cruising very relaxing: too many people, too much noise, too much, too

Anyone ever sailed on them?
More thoughts on independent excursions in the Baltic04 Jul 2009 01:34 GMT15
I thought I'd start a new thread instead of piggybacking on Rosalie's
thread.
On our 2007 Baltic cruise on the Star Princess, there were three vans
there when we got off the ship, one each from the major agencies.
