I am traveling to europe in october for the first time.  I will be in
paris for a week and was wondering if anybody knows of PRADA outlets
near or in paris.  Any recommendations where a first time traveler to
paris can do some shopping when not sight seeing would be appreciared.

I've been reading a lot of articles and hearing a lot of ppl warning
about the pickpockets in Paris (on the metro from CDG, etc.). How
serious is this threat? Is it really that bad? What are some of the
scams?

Myself and three girlfriends returned from Amsterdam on Sunday evening.
We went over for the bank holiday for three days.  We are all extremely
troubled still after the whole event and would warn any females that
are planning to go to be very cautious and avoid the red light

Is there an inexpensive way to fly *nonstop* from Paris
(CDG, if possible) to Edinburgh? Thanks!

With all the input from this wonderful group we have developed a great
itinerary.  We are beginning our trip from London (Gatwick), rent a
car there and driving out to Salisbury. From there we are covering SW

I and my wife need to make a trip from rome to catania, italy in late
October 2003. It seems to be 10 hours by train, 1.5 by plane. But I
like train travel. Has anyone ever been on this route (at least from
rome to any where in sicily)? How is it? Any recommendations?

When is the Italian rail timetable for 2004 published?  The Trenintalia
site doesn't have anything for after end of this year, and neither does
