looking for a home base in Navarra in the Pyrenees from which to explore the

Traveling to Strasbourg France in a couple weeks, already staying in
Strasbourg for a few days.
I am looking for another area to visit (and accomodations) within 1-2
hours from Strasbourg Airport as we will have a rental car.

Fares to Europe seem reasonable right now, tho not as low as I've seen
them in the past, for the fall. What they've called the sale fares are
over by Sept. 9, I'm trying to decide whether to go ahead and purchase
a ticket or wait and hope they come up with a better price for October

I have an apartment for rent in Venice that is only 5 minutes from Venice's
railway station. The apartment has:
1. A roomy kitchen (20 sq. mt.)
2. A living room with TV, sofa, 4 beds.(40 sq. mt.)

I am looking to hire a chateau/villa in August 2004.
There will be 12 people and we require a private pool, short walk to
bars/restaurants and beach.

I am going to be Istanbul for Christmas having arrived there by train. My
problem is that i would like to fly from Istanbul back to the UK (Anywhere
really, ideally connecting to Edinburgh). Travel Agents here and online
airline sites are looking at £500+ a throw for a one-way ...

I recently came across this outfit, that claims to have umpteeen millions
of members.   Apparently they sell schemes whereby the member contracts to
take a certain number of "points" per year and the member then trades in
the points for holiday accomodation around the world.

My wife and I are planning a 7 to 10 day trip to Ireland during the

On RATP's web site it looks like I can't get the Paris Visite card for
more than 5 days. Is this true?
And does it pay off? Say I make around 4 trips with the Métro each day.
Is the card cheaper than buying single tickets?

I am visiting Copenhagen and will probably choose accommodation outside the
city.  Never having visited Denmark before - how good is the public
transport system in and out of the city please?

Hi, can anyone recommend a two or three star hotel in the Marais or Bastille ares?
Any advice gratefully received.

We will be in Italy in June of 2004.  Looking for recommendations for a
local hotels or B&Bs.  We speak Italian fairly well, so language is not a
problem.  Any suggestions are appreciated.

I'm going to London in November and am considering the Americana Hotel
which is near Regents Park.  Does anyone have experience with this
hotel?  I don't need anything fancy, just a clean and quiet room.
Other recommendations for cheap-but-decent London hotels also welcome.
