i.e., if something costs 3,50euro, how would you say this?  "three euros,
fifty _____"    cents?  is there another word for it? or do they say "three
and a half euros" or "three point five euros"?  What about the

England: Budget + weather = when?23 Sep 2003 18:09 GMT12
I'm to take my 83 year old mother on a trip to England (kinda a last
hurrah). This will have to be a budget vacation as I know my financial
limitations. Therefore I need to keep it as affordable as possible. But
she also resides in warm, sunny Florida since 1966 and the deep ...

Is is safe to stay there?  Convenient to transport/tourist spots?
Also, how would we get from the Waterloo station to that area (bus,

Expect also North of France to become a London suburb (I don't have a
problem with that, and I am from Pas de Calais), since commuter trains

Family hotel in Paris22 Sep 2003 22:25 GMT2
My family (2 adults, 2 kids) is looking for a hotel in Paris. Our

family (kids are 5 and 8). A room that has one kingsize bed and two
normal (or second kingsize) would do. We do not really need that much

Gite or rental in Dordogne or Brittany22 Sep 2003 09:25 GMT1
I'm looking for a gite for a week's stay in western France, probably in
Brittany or the Dordogne for spring 2004, sometime in April, May or June,
yet to be determined. If you have had a particularly satisfying experience
in a rental in these regions--nay, if you have fallen in love ...
