I am wondering if you need multilingual tour guides.  I am an
American, and speak fluent French and German, and intermediate
Spanish.  I am currently in Toulouse, France, but am flexible about

Planning a trip to London the weekend of the Lord Mayor's Show.  At 5:00pm
there are fireworks launched from a platform the other side of Waterloo
bridge to end the show.  I was thinking of booking a flight on the London
Eye to start at 5:00pm also.  Is this a good idea?  I assume ...

of a detour to Rome for a few days. The Lufthansa round trip fares to

I usually buy the "Eyewitness Top 10 Travel Guide" for a city, as
it makes for a great pocket reference.  One thing I really like are
the foldout maps at the end of the book, including metro & tram
routes.  Unfortunately a Munich guide book has not been released.

Croatia? I have been told that it is possible to validate the
insurance at Trieste, on a Eurocar hire. Any one have any experience

decided against staying in London proper simply for traffic reasons. I have
had an exchange offered for Wokingham, just outside of Reading, and
Spalding, in the East Midlands.
