I plan to be in Barcelona, and I have five days or so to spend outside
of the area. I am thinking of renting a car and driving through cities
like Perpignon, Narbonne, Carcassonne, and ending in Toulouse for a
couple of nights.  I enjoy scenic France, but not industrial France.

There is an interesting history of Roman and Medieval occupation as
well as prehistoric settlement. Scenic lake towns and elegant resort
towns dot the coastal boundaries. History is told by monuments,
churches, cathedrals, paintings and archeological remains. This zone

I am trying to decide between Paris, Florence, Venice or Rome for 3-4
day stay at a beginning of next March. What would be the best city for
nostalgic/romantic urban ambiance, best value hotels 4*+, museums,
friendly people, food, festivals, weather, etc.

I'm spending some time in Munich and Augsberg the week before Christmas.
Can anyone recommend places to hear blues music there?

I'm am a college student that will be living in Florence next year from
September to May.  I will be taking classes four days a week, but the
rest is left for travel.  I've never been to Europe.  Where do I just
HAVE to go?  What do I HAVE to see?  Any suggestions?

Can anyone recommend good resources for planning travel to Oslo,
Norway in December.  I'm looking for tour books, restuarant guides,
that sort of thing.

We are planning our first tour of Europe next April and are trying to decide
between a "package" cheapy bus tour, and maybe taking a train with a Europass
or a bus throughout--from London to Paris, to Fehmarn Germany (island in far
north) to Stuttgard and Rhine valley, to Munich or ...

Could anyone advise the cheapest and most hassle-free way of getting from
Dublin airport into the city centre.  It will be a weekday and I'm only in
town for about ten hours so I need to make good use of my time.

Can anyone recommend interesting theater performances in London during
the next few weeks for which tickets are available?  We enjoy British
comedy, musicals, traditional drama, etc., and will be staying near the
west end.

What ideas do people have about where to head out of Munich, en route to
Bolzano?  My husband and I are looking for someplace on a lake, away from
the maddening crowds...
