Thanks to all for the information on travel from the aiport to the Radisson

Are there restaurants near the hotel that can be recommended?

After arriving at Schipol, I intend to take bus #197 to the museum

I have two ryan air one way tickets that i cannot use for 20th
december.
the first is dublin to london stansted 9.30-10.40
the second is london stansted to venice treviso 18.55-21.50

I posted asking about Charlotte Guesthouse before we went to
London--no one replied, but I'm happy to report the place was okay!
It's cheaper than just about any hotel I researched in London, in an
area that isn't right in the thick of museum or theatre district,

Which of the budget airlines flies out of Charles de Gaulle or Orly
France airports?  I'm making another trip to France and am pondering
my low cost exploration options.

In previous years we've occasionally been on holiday in France during
September and its quite obvious that there is a point when the season comes
to a pretty abrupt end. This seems to be around September 15th, so I'd guess
in 2004 might be the 19th.
