We've been to Italy twice on a cruise, but now want to fly there and do it on our own. We were thinking of Rome, Florence, and Naples for a total of two weeks. I know there is a train one can take from each of these cities, but how do you go about getting tickets? Do you just ...

I'm looking for help on finding a dentist in London (UK). I moved here at the start of the year and so far haven't had much luck. I recently went to one for a cleaning/check-up and the entire process lasted about 3-5 minutes. No electrical instruments were used and no scaling or

| JFK to Pau, France ?? | 15 Dec 2003 07:10 GMT | 1 |
Checking into flights, it seems like this is going to be an awkward place to get to. And it's not clear to me that a given routing is the best. Would I be better off to fly to Paris and take the train south (seems

| Carrara (IT) | 15 Dec 2003 04:04 GMT | 3 |
I'll be in Florence in early Feb (approx 7-14) and trying to determine if a daytrip to Carrara is feasible. I see the train takes only about an hour, but that takes me to the town. I am interested in seeing the marble quarries (which I saw once at a distance from the highway).

| Question on Italian train ticketts | 15 Dec 2003 02:40 GMT | 8 |
I've always used a Eurailpass so am somewhat unfamiliar with Italian railroad ticketing. Is a ticket between two cities good no matter what route you use? To give an actual example - this year we went from Verona to Pistoia, but there are three straightforward routes one can

I have 12 days to spend in Montreal, Quebec City and all of Nova Scotia. How should I divide my time between these 3 areas? I am thinking 2 days Montreal, 3 days Quebec City, 1 day travel (by plane) to Nova Scotia and 6 days in Nova Scotia.

| Aliyah's bike | 14 Dec 2003 13:02 GMT | 6 |
I found just the tricycle I'm looking for for her. It's 12 inches instead of 10 inches. Could be a bit big for her now- but the 10 inches says 2 1/2 to 4 and the 12 inch wheels were for 3 to 5. She may have to grow into it a bit- but she'll get there.

| Driving time from northern Portugal to Carcassonne? | 14 Dec 2003 00:31 GMT | 6 |
I am pondering driving from northern Portugal to Carcassonne. I do not know northern Spain, nor the Pyrenees, nor the region south of Carcassonne. Am I mad to consider the drive, since I have no time to tarry en route for sightseeing, or is this doable? I had considered flying from ...
