Saw some threads here about old British money that prompted me to
think about
something I hadn't thought about.
I have dumped some old  money in an old briefcase in my attic

We spent a wonderful week in a villa on the island of Ischia last year and
would like to spend two weeks this spring exploring Sicily. Would appreciate
any info on places you may have rented and comments on best places to locate -
preferably one week in each of two locations.

A group of ten of us are lookinng for a villa in Tuscany, Umbria or Liguria

Cannot seem to locate flights from Athens to Dubrovnik...but that
doesn't mean they don't necessarily exist <s> I expect it will need to

When renting a car from AutoEurope or Europecar, which seem to be associated
in the UK, be careful about inspecting the car before driving off from the
rental office. We rented such a car at Heathrow, were directed to the car by
the shuttle driver and drove off without inspecting it ...

Italy, by the U.S. Poet Laureate, Billy Collins.  It's entitled
"Consolation".  I won't infringe on the poet's copyright by reprinting

A couple of years ago I did this going via A12 N286 A86 A10 and on to
A6.
The main problem was the double A10 coming out of Paris was a bit of a
pain!

Hi, I'm going to do a great circle of the coastline of Italy...by train
this year.  Has anyone favorite spots on the Adriatic coast...mid to
