Is there an online currency converter that I can put in a window on my
desktop to show the day-to-day fluctuations between two selected
curencies?
eg.  $US vs EUR ?

We thinking of renting an apartment here in the summer. What is the
neighborhood like? Pros and cons?

Mature, reasonably experienced, independent, mildly adventurous but not
foolhardy Aussie travellers are wondering which of the
cities/towns/villages in Eastern Europe would be recommended to provide
the best "feel"  for a 1 week -2 week visit which could be extended.

Anyone stayed in the Botel boat hotel in Amsterdam?
Its basically a ship converted into a floating hotel and is moored at

We will be flying to Venice in late winter. We have tickets from Washington,
DC, to Frankfurt on United and then from Frankfurt to Venice on Lufthansa.
We are very concerned about the short time allowed to make the connection
between flights in Frankfurt -- less than an hour.
